Thanks for sharing these valuable links. I just got my SysOps Associate, and I was thinking of taking the the Pro, but I might skip it and jump for the DevOps
Thanks & congrats
The Pro exams are either the DevOps or the Solution Architect. There is no Pro version for the SysOps itself.
Yes you are right 👍🏼
hi!
I don't understand the validation process before exam with the two cameras hehe
Do you use a mobile for identificate? Or you have a camera integrated in the screen laptop, and another extra camera external?
thanks! very interesting!!
Hi Ramon, it's the latter. I have integrated camera on laptop plus an external camera. Exam software picked this up at the start and asked me to pick one. I picked the external camera but when it got to the validation stage, it was showing the picture from my laptop camera. I mistakenly took that as the camera the software was using but it was actually using should have used the external camera.
I know this sounds confusing. It's one of those "you had to be there" situations
I used only AWS Certified Developer - Associate DVA-C01 Practice Test for preparation. By practicing with DVA-C01 Practice Test, i easily prepared exam within short time. It helped me to understand all final exam topics and concepts. On the exam day, i performed well and i got success easily in the first try.

I'd also recommend to try practice tests that follow the official study guide of AWS while preparing for the AWS Associate Developer exam. It helps in identifying the mistakes and make your preparation perfect. github.com/Study4Exam/Free-DVA-C01...
Tom, great article. Thank you
Thanks @mabasom , glad you liked it
This is a great post! I appreciate you sharing your experience along with your advice. Thanks!
That's a great writing Tom!
Thanks for sharing and congratulations!
I would love to ask: why do the exam? Isn't learning how to use AWS (and the concepts) enough?
Thanks aboutandre
I have a few reasons for doing the exam but these are the top 3
1) Certification provides a structure for me to learn AWS and a target to aim for. Plus, there are over 40 services covered in the exam, you mightn't cover all of those in your day job
2) I'm an engineering manager and am trying to inspire my team to learn more and more about AWS
3) Certs look good on your cv
That's great. Congrats Tom and thank you very much for the detailed knowledge sharing.
Congratulations💯 And thanks for the resources!
Thank you for the detailed description.
I'm currently studying for the dev associate.

This article is so interesting and useful to pass AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification exam. I am also an AWS Certified Developer - Associate professional. But becoming one certified professional is not a simple task. I appreciate you for sharing such quality videos for the preparation of this certification but I must say that they are not just enough (at least they weren't for me). That's why I looked for something where I could test my preparation. After a whole lot of research, I was greeted with Pass4future AWS Certified Developer - Associate practice tests and they were a total life savior for me. I highly recommend them before taking your actual exam!
