What a Topography Survey Actually Captures

A topography survey records the natural and man-made features of a site — ground elevation, contours, slopes, existing structures, trees, utilities, and boundaries — and translates them into an accurate map or digital model. Rather than relying on assumptions about how a site slopes or drains, project teams get a precise, measured picture of the land exactly as it exists today.
