Hi, thought I would reach out to the community of writers here. I'm currently learning ML, and biotech domain knowledge, so I thought I could convert my notes into a book.
Do you have any tips on writing/publishing books for software engineers?
Here is a waiting list if you are interested in biology ;p

I'm in the process of writing a book too. My #1 lesson so far is to validate your book ideas/content before starting with the book itself. For example, come up with a list of chapters and main ideas for each chapter, then write a blog post (or LinkedIn post or tweet) for each. You'll know for sure which ideas resonate the most with your audience.
That's true, I didn't think of validating the idea. Thought that if I have a problem and can't find the right sources then there is a gap in the market. There probably is, however I can't be sure high wide.
What book are you writing? Share the waiting list if you have :p
for tooling, try mdbook, a markdown to pdf conversion tool for writing docs and programming related books!

Haven't heard of it! However I'm planning on selling it on amazon kindle store. For that I'll need to use Kindle Create for the right formatting and I can only import docx and doc files into it. But that's a good thing as I can create with google doc everything I need.
Any tips are welcome 🙈
