Layering CSS gradients

Did you know that you can layer CSS gradients on top of each other?

I first started playing with the concept when checking out this tool for making mesh gradients.

But, seeing how it worked for larger background images, I decided to try it out as a background for text, and made a demo in an attempt to make it look like a marker highlight effect!
