We are excited to announce another important milestone — Apache DolphinScheduler 3.3.1 is officially released! 🎉
As a stable, easy-to-use, and powerful distributed workflow scheduler, DolphinScheduler is always committed to delivering the ultimate scheduling experience. This 3.3.1 release is a bug fix and experience optimization iteration, designed to bring you more stable, efficient, and secure scheduling services.

✨ New Features
Although this is primarily a bug-fix release, we’ve still introduced some practical new features to make workflow management even smoother!
- Local Task SSH Key Support: You can now use SSH keys for authentication when executing local tasks, greatly improving convenience and security.
- LDAP TLS/SSL Support: Enhanced LDAP security support. Enterprise users can now enable encrypted transmission during authentication to better protect account information.
- ClickHouse JDBC URL Custom Parameters: Added greater flexibility for ClickHouse data sources, allowing users to configure connection parameters for specific scenarios.
🛡️ Bug Fixes & Security Updates
Stability and security are always our top priorities. In this version, we fixed dozens of community-reported issues and addressed an important security vulnerability.

CVE-2024-38686
, significantly improving system security. We strongly recommend all users upgrade! - Task Stop Logic Optimization: Fixed an issue where tasks could not be stopped properly in certain cases, ensuring more precise and reliable workflow control.
- Worker Group Management Fixes: Resolved an issue where Worker groups could be lost after restart, improving cluster management stability.
- 补数 Function Fixes: Fixed logic errors that could occur when handling dependent tasks with the补数 (re-run/backfill) feature.
- Frontend Fixes: Fixed multiple UI display and interaction issues, making the user interface smoother and more intuitive.

🛠️ Improvements & Optimizations
Details matter. We’ve made deep optimizations across several modules to deliver a better user experience.
- Registry Directory Structure Optimization: Improved service registration structure in Zookeeper/Etcd, making service discovery clearer and more efficient.
- Task Log & Error Message Improvements: Enhanced task log output format and Python Gateway logging, plus more detailed error prompts to help you troubleshoot faster.
- Dependency Upgrades: Upgraded several libraries to improve overall system performance and stability.
