This is a submission for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge Week 2: Side Hustle
What I Built
ShopListing AI is a simple web app designed for small sellers who need help drafting product titles, descriptions, and tags for online listings.
Users enter a product name, target customer, key features, price, and selling platform. The app generates a draft that can be copied and edited.
The goal is to reduce repetitive writing work for independent sellers.

How I Built It
I built the current prototype using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It has a product input form, listing preview, and copy buttons.
Current limitation: The prototype uses template-based generation and does not yet connect to an AI model.
Why Does Open Innovation Matter?
The next step is to integrate an open-weight language model so sellers can customize listing generation and reduce dependence on proprietary AI APIs. I want to explore model choice, affordability, and privacy as the project develops.
