This is a submission for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge Week 4: Ghost in the Machine
What I Built
GhostAI Pro is an AI-powered code debugging assistant designed to help developers identify coding errors, understand bugs, and explore possible solutions.
The project focuses on making debugging easier for students and developers by combining a web interface with AI-powered code analysis.
Inspired by the theme "Ghost in the Machine," GhostAI Pro aims to uncover hidden issues in code and help users understand how to fix them.

How I Built It
GhostAI Pro is built using a frontend-backend architecture.
Next.js: Frontend interface
Python and FastAPI: Backend API
Ollama: Integration with a locally running AI model
AI-powered code analysis: Designed to explain code errors and suggest possible corrections.
The project connects the frontend to the backend, which is designed to process code analysis requests using a local AI model.
Why Does Open Innovation Matter?
Open innovation gives developers the opportunity to learn from existing projects, share ideas, and collaborate on improvements.
By making GhostAI Pro available on GitHub, I want to share my work with the developer community and continue learning about AI integration, debugging tools, and open-source development.
My Agent Session
Building GhostAI Pro has been a hands-on learning experience in integrating AI with a web application. I worked on connecting a Next.js frontend with a Python FastAPI backend and exploring local AI inference using Ollama.
This project helped me understand how different components work together to build an AI-powered developer tool. I plan to continue improving the project and welcome feedback and contributions from the open-source community.
The Spirit of It
Sometimes, the hardest bugs to solve are the ones we cannot immediately see.
GhostAI Pro explores how AI can help developers investigate these hidden issues, understand errors, and discover possible solutions.
The goal is to make debugging less intimidating and help developers learn from their mistakes.
