Yes, exactly! I am giving a helping hand to a friend with their private project. Unity is a really interesting tool - I am looking forward to write about my impressions on it soon here on DEV ;)

Oh rock on! I've heard lotsa good things about Unity. And actually, just the other day I was considering picking up the game Citizen Sleeper, which uses the Unity engine... haven't picked it up yet (I'm still considering), but it looks cool!

Anywwho, I hope the work on your friend's project goes well! And I'll be lookin' out for your posts on Unity if ya do decide to follow through with that.

  • Still studying for my Linux+ cert.
  • Learning about Linux system admin stuff
  • Looking into what I can do for a job with my current skills
  • learning more about KDE and CentOS

I'm all over the place this weekend. It's getting to be crunch time for my contract to end at my current job so I'm trying to plan ahead so I can get another job.

My current job offers free learning resources and I'm doing it through that. Oddly though, they only offer the first part of the cert.

But, the series is also on their YouTube

I am a habitual reader and typically have a stack of technical tomes in my queue. I also have been known to bring books to social events.
