In the middle of learning `setTimeout(), I'm seeing the word asynchronous a lot. And Google says that just means
not existing or happening at the same time
(There's a second definition that's probably even more of a relevant application to coding, but it's a bit wordy.)
But, okay, async, not at the same time. So synchronous is at the same time.
OMG THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT BEING IN SYNC.
If NSYNC ever makes a comeback, they can call their album **SYNCHRONOUS. Here's the concept album art they can have *for free.
