Overall, the website looks very usable without external CSS, until you scroll down and are greeted by screen-wide photos of random people, so I would recommend adding a
width
andheight
to those images in the HTML. There's also a bunch of H5 headers used for small sections ("What I can do for you", "Applications I'm fluent in", etc.) so it's a little bit confusing. The pixel-art mascot also looks a bit out of place when it's just placed in the middle of the text. With CSS enabled, the site looks very nice. It has a bunch of stuff going on, but not enough to feel cluttered.
For my taste, there's a bit too much animation, but otherwise it's a really nice website personal :D
Thanks for the solid feedback, I really appreciate it:) Yes, I was attempting to add a type of spin off to the "professional" websites! I'm going to take all of your points into consideration and make some changes! :)
Cool! Maybe it'd be good to go down with the... *** words to impress your clients a little more... just an opinion.
By the way, I've never used WebFlow, but looks like there are cool websites built on there. What can it do and what's your favorite features? I just like to stick with code.
Haha! I like to show a little edge and real life! Webflow has some really cool websites build on it! It isn't as powerful as I wish, but you can integrate React and export the code to build a react app.
I really like it. I actually have a question regarding the blog. Did you use a framework for it or did you write the whole backend and database yourself for the blog?
I am also busy with making a portfolio website using React and I also want to add a blog but I'm not sure which method is the best. Other than that, I really like your portfolio website!
Hey, thank you! I used a cms website called Webflow for it!
Ow ok! I heard about Webflow before. Can you customise a lot of things there or you are limited?
You can customize a lot on there, and you can export the code and use it in other apps, such as make a react app:)
The TLS/SSL is a bit screwed up, since it has HTTPS but it still warned me about insecurity when I opened the website (maybe it's just Firefox being weird).
I know this can happen with GitHub pages, so if I were you I'd just wait it out and not worry too much about it.
Sadly no actually constructive criticism on my end, since NextDNS blocks newly registered domains, but in a few weeks I'll remember to check it!
Hmm thats weird, I haven't tried on Firefox yet but it works on Chrome and Safari. Im not using GitHub with this website. No problem, for sure check it out when you can!
I like your scrolling animation 🌝
Thank you!
Very jetbrains website isn't it?
I would say so! I just took a look, it wasn't inspired by that in the initial.
Your website is very pretty btw
cool
Thank you!
Looks great, and renders pretty quick, less in love with the swears.
Thank you! Sorry, just try to keep it real haha
Bro Its so cool!! I dont know if you have but... you can put the redirect to your linkedin user in the contact form, so many people want to contact from here.
Thanks bro, I appreciate it! I haven't done that yet, but thats a dope idea, I'm going to do that.
What programming languages do I need to make this type of website?
probably markup languages like html designing like css and logic using js and ts
or api's kinda tailwind,bootstrap
or something webflow ?
Hey Aytekin! I actually built this on Webflow!
