While skimming means you're not really reading things word for word, I think this is also where textual contents shine as you can't do that as easily with other mediums (like podcasts and videos). So if anything, I feel like I need to up my skimming game!
Oh yes, skimming is great. If I need information or need to solve a problem, it can be really frustrating when the only outlet is a video that I can't skim (I do 2x speed though 😄)
