Computer scientists have funny names for things.
A treap is a tree and a heap. Specifically a binary search tree and a binary heap. Tree, heap. Tree-heap. Treeeap. Treap.
Get it?
(Sorry if that was too obvious, I was having fun).
I might follow up with a post on what these terms actually mean, but for now I'm just writing to point out that I like the name.
