TL;DR
Welcome back to Dev Opportunity Radar.
This is a weekly series where I share opportunities, resources, communities, and interesting finds ...

Hi @hemapriya_kanagala!
I'm new to your series.
I found a good hack:
Also, do you include India-specific hacks too or just worldwide ones?
If you find this hack helpful, I'd be happy😂. Have A Great Day!
Hey Dhruv! Welcome to the series 😀
And yes, this is actually a great find. I just checked it out and I think it would be a good one to include. I'll add it to Edition #17 and of course credit you for sharing it!
Also, I do include India-specific opportunities too. I don't really have a rule that something has to be worldwide for me to include it. It depends on the opportunity itself and whether I feel it is worth sharing.
If there is a really good opportunity that is only available in India, I would much rather include that than add a worldwide opportunity that isn't as useful just because it is open globally.
For example, in Edition #15, I included the Bharat Builds Tour, even though it was India-specific. I felt it was worth including because of what the opportunity offered, especially the project-building part and the potential interview pathway.
So it really depends on the opportunity. That's also one of the reasons I love the Community Finds part of the series because you all come across things I may not find while doing my own research.
Thank you again for sharing this one, and please keep them coming 😄 Have a great day too!
Hi @hemapriya_kanagala, I had a question. I run an IND-TECH-WEEKLY series every Sunday on Dev.to since last couple of weeks. And have a developer corner section in it. Also, this is before I discovered your series. Would it be good if I just put up liquid tag of your weekly opportunity post?
Cause even if I find something good and its wroth enough to share to the community, it'll be in your post anyway.
Also, this was just a question, No pressure. Have a great day!😅
Yeah, absolutely! I think that would actually work really well. You can just add the Liquid tag for the weekly Radar post in your Developer Corner whenever it fits your post.
And thank you for doing that too! It helps more people discover the Radar, and since the Liquid tag links back to the original post, it also helps bring people to the series. At the same time, you don't have to repeat the same opportunities in your own post. So I think it's a win for both of us 😄
Also, please keep sending me anything you find that you think is worth sharing. Even if it ends up being something I already found, it's still helpful to have another person looking out for these things!
Thanks 😊.
And I'll definitely send you whatever the best opportunities I find cause I've been in scammy hacks too. And have opt out from hacks too cause they started asking money
So, I'm always careful on what to suggest. Again, have a great day!
Of course and thank you for being careful about what you share too. Have a great day as well 😀
Just a small update on the Dev Opportunity Radar website since it's been a while.
I made a few changes recently:
Nothing huge, just wanted to share these little changes with you all. If you'd love to check it out, here's the link: Dev Opportunity Radar website
And as always, if you have any suggestions for making it easier to browse, I'd love to hear them 💙
What opportunities, communities, grants, fellowships, hackathons, conferences, or resources have you come across recently that deserve more attention?
I am always looking for things to include in future editions, so feel free to share anything interesting you've found. If I feature one of your finds in a future edition, I'll always make sure to credit you.
If you discovered an opportunity through the radar, applied to something, joined a community, attended an event, or simply found something you hadn't seen before, I'd genuinely love to hear about that too. With your permission, I'd be happy to feature your update in a future 💙 Reader Updates section.
Small request: If you are sharing a link, please avoid posting raw URLs directly. DEV sometimes filters them before I get a chance to see the comment.
Sorry to bother you again, GDG clubs across India have organized an International hackathon called Bit N Build.
And It has first round this weekend which is online and state-wise. And qualifying teams have fully sponsored trip to Mumbai and a final round there.
Have a .... well good night!😅
Hemapriya, I really like how this series is becoming more than just a weekly list of links. Keeping the older opportunities around while adding new ones makes it much easier to come back when you're actually looking for something. I also liked seeing the Dhruv conversation in the comments. It feels like the Radar is something the community can contribute to, not just a weekly roundup. 😊
Thank you so much, Shubhra! And yes, that’s actually why I made the Community Finds part from the very first edition. I always wanted this to be something the community could contribute to too, not just me finding and sharing things every week.
And thank you for supporting the Radar through every edition. It really means a lot to me 💙
Huge thanks for putting this together, Hemapriya! Curating these opportunities weekly and breaking them down so cleanly saves the community a ton of research time—especially love seeing the AI Agent Hackathon and the Education Fellowship highlighted. The Dev Opportunity Radar is quickly becoming a weekly must-read. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much, Ahmed! This really means a lot. I’m happy that the Radar is useful and saves some research time, that’s exactly what I’m hoping for with it. And you saying it’s becoming a weekly must-read made my day 😀
Totally deserved! Keep up the amazing work, looking forward to the next issue
You're most welcome! Keep up the awesome work, looking forward to the next issue
Great collection of AI opportunities and resources! The AI for Education Fellowship and AWS Student Rewards are especially interesting for developers looking to build practical skills. Thanks for sharing these opportunities. For more programming tutorials and developer resources, visit CodeCan.net.
Great collection of opportunities for developers and AI enthusiasts. It is exciting to see more hackathons, fellowships, and learning programs creating accessible paths for people to experiment, build, and grow their skills.
AI is moving so quickly that practical experience has become just as important as theoretical knowledge. Events like these give developers a chance to turn ideas into real projects, learn from the community, and discover new possibilities.
It is a valuable resource for anyone looking to stay involved and keep building in the AI ecosystem.
Thank you! That’s exactly what I’m hoping the Radar can help with, making it a little easier to find these opportunities and actually build something along the way.
Brilliant writing thank you!
Thank you so much, Shirley 😀
Nice Hema!! 🙃
Thank you so much, Divya!
