Hi Everyone!! 🖐
I m k4rkie , I'm a newbie programmer trying to learn web dev and mostly backend.
I'm a CS student and the idea of building software just fascinates me. So I m trying to become somewhat good at it. I have currently just started my backend journey after spending some time understanding the frontend with the basics of HTML, CSS and JS. I have decided to use Node as i had already learnt the basics of JS.
I decided to join dev.to so i can get more into the community of like minded individuals and learn more about the field.
Hope to learn something new here and excited for the coming future🤞

Hi everyone!
I'm Dominik from Hungary. By day I'm a sociology master's student, by night I turn into a coding and data analysis nerd who experiments with Python, R, and whatever else catches my curiosity. 💡
Right now I'm building on my first serious project, which is a text-based workflow app (now it's just like a nerdy productivity console, but I'm working hard on it). Also super curious about machine learning, data analysis, and tinkering with Linux.
Excited to be here, learn from you, make collaborations, and maybe even share some cool experiments along the way!

I’m Luigi, a longtime developer and, more recently, the CTO of a social running startup I launched a year ago. My experience covers iOS development, backend systems, and frontend work, and I love transforming ideas into products that bring tech into everyday life.
At the moment, I’m creating new apps and experimenting with AI-powered tools — including maintaining an open-source repo that highlights some of the best ones for developers.
Beyond coding, I’m super into sports 🏃♂️ and a big smart home fan (though sometimes my automations feel like they’re playing tricks on me 😅).
Fun fact: I once built an iOS app that hit 80k downloads in a single month… before Apple decided it wasn’t meant for the App Store 🙈 (RIP little app).
Looking forward to connecting, swapping stories, and learning from this community 🚀

👋 Hello there, I’m Alikhan
I’m a full-stack engineer with a background in cybersecurity and blockchain research, recently finishing my Master’s in Computer Science.
I work across the stack — React, Next.js, Node.js, Go, PostgreSQL — and I’m focused on AI-native software and multi-agent collaboration systems.
Currently I’m building a multi-agent platform that feels like Discord for AI teammates. Alongside that, I’ve been experimenting with:
I just like making cool stuff — useful, fast, and (hopefully) smarter than me. I’m open to everything — contact me anytime.

Hello everyone.
I made a cool programming language(QapDSLv2) and a parser generator(QapGen) for it and decided to share it. I want to write an article/post about it here.
I don't know if I'll write it, because it's not even clear how many views the posts/articles have.
There are a lot of articles here that have zero comments and reactions and it upsets me a little. I don't really want to write articles without feedback.
But still, I believe that sharing knowledge, even if quietly, is valuable. Sometimes it just takes one person to spark a conversation or inspire an idea. So, here I am, hoping to connect with like-minded people. Looking forward to any thoughts or questions you might have!
Hi everyone! 👋
I’m Cal, a Computer Engineering student with a growing passion for web development. My goal is to one day become a full-stack developer, building projects that are both functional and impactful.
I’m actively looking for opportunities to learn from others, collaborate on projects, and even find mentors who can help me grow as a developer. I love connecting with people who share the same curiosity for technology and problem-solving.
Right now, my strongest language is Python, which I’ve used for everything from scripting to exploring game development projects. Along the way, I’ve also picked up some** C++** fundamentals, and I’m currently expanding my skills by learning Java.
Outside of coding, I’m deeply motivated by the idea of continuous learning — experimenting with new technologies, understanding how things work under the hood, and challenging myself to step outside my comfort zone.
🚀 Current Goals:
Strengthen my front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Transition into full-stack development
Build real-world projects to showcase my journey

Hey Dev.to!, I am Zaki
From my first Sakhar computer to today, my journey in tech has been one of constant exploration. Beginning with coding Perl and JavaScript in the 90s, I moved on to delivering some of the Level 400 & 500 infrastructure courses at Microsoft before immersing myself in Big Data with Hadoop and Hana.
It was that curiosity that first brought me to AI in 2020, and I've been captivated by it ever since. I enjoy a hands-on approach to all sorts of content, including text, images, videos, and particularly app development. I was developing complete applications using AI-generated code before it became popular, and I subscribed to platforms like Cursor and Bolt from the very beginning. These tools, in conjunction with my graphic designer, have allowed me to swiftly realize groundbreaking concepts.
I currently operate my own agency, Khetta. We empower businesses in Bahrain and Dubai to undergo genuine digital transformation by migrating them to the cloud, implementing robust automation, and developing digitization products that yield tangible outcomes.
I'm happy to share my lessons in career, project management and transforming complex tech into real-world solutions. Let's connect!

Building the future of terminals, one commit at a time 🧜♀️
I'm the creator behind RinaWarp Terminal and founder of Rinawarp Technologies, LLC. What began as frustration with clunky terminal experiences evolved into building an AI-powered terminal that reimagines how developers work.
My background is a blend of code and creativity – I publish music as Rina Vex and believe the best software comes from understanding both the technical and human sides of problems. This philosophy shaped RinaWarp Terminal's approach: powerful AI features wrapped in an interface that actually sparks joy.
I'm passionate about going against the grain. Why should developer tools be boring and look like every other terminal? The mermaid theme isn't just aesthetic – it's a statement that we can be unique, professional, and world-changing all at once. But it doesn't stop there. I believe when you can customize your workspace to truly feel like your space, you're empowered to get things done with confidence.
RinaWarp Terminal embodies this philosophy – it's not just another terminal, but a canvas for individual expression. Voice commands, natural language processing, intelligent suggestions, and customizable themes that let developers create an environment that makes them feel at home. Because when your tools reflect who you are, you're more inspired to build amazing things.
As a solo founder, I'm focused on creating products that solve real problems beautifully while celebrating what makes each of us unique. Currently building and refining the platform while maintaining the craft and attention to detail that makes great software – and proving you don't have to fall in line to change the world.
Tech stack: Electron, Node.js, AI/ML integration, cross-platform development

Creative outlet: Music production and release as Rina Vex
Mission: Empowering developers to be uniquely themselves while building the future

I’m not a developer by trade (though I’ve been known to wrestle with code when it misbehaves), but I live in the world of words, ideas, and digital tools. Hey guys, I'm Ash,
and this is not my first time here. I created a new account for a fresh start, but I've been part of this community since 2021, when I wrote my first line of code.
I'm back again because this time, I am finishing the story, my coding story, and I'm not giving up.
I've been an SEO Specialist, Copywriter, Content Writer, and SAHM. Now, I'm a mom who codes with her daughter. Yes, she's only 5, but we love coding games like Scratch and others. If it's drag and drop, she's on it.
So seeing her light up when she's coding, re-lit my own fire and decided to do the thing I wanted to do... scared.
I'm going back to the basics and going from there. No more tutorial hell. I'm diving head on into my own projects and learning as I go.
What's my end game? I want to focus on web building first, and go from there.
Not a fan of Twitter/X, but I plan to create a space on BlueSky. If you are already there, I'd love to connect with you.
I would like to connect with you as I am eagerly trying to learn web development. I'm still a student in my second year, majoring in Computer Engineering, and I need someone to mentor me or to learn web development with me
Greetings,
I'm a freelance software developer from Cape Town. I work part-time for 2U and edX and I also run my own business with 4 junior to mid level engineers who I've mentored.
I love anything blockchain, I do work for web3 projects. Smart contracts, dApps, games and so on. Wallet security and game security fascinate me.
Building AI Agents is also fun to do on weekends.
I'm here to expand my network and connect with other devs from around the world. To share and learn from each other. It's how we grow.

Hi guys, my name is Paul and I'm a self-taught MERN/TypeScript developer trying to switch from hospitality into tech. I'm at the stage where I can make full-stack applications that work but I'm still a bit weak on areas like security. A lot of my recent projects have been aimed at web apps that would be useful for hospitality.
I joined Dev.to because I'd like to network with other programmers and learn what I can from more experienced coders.

Hello my name is Robert!
I'm currently a truck driver from Kansas but i soon hope to be joining the tech world!
I know with AI its been kind of crazy but honestly the more i learn about AI local chatbots or using them to learn to code or build apps with docker desktop. I've realized they are good but not the end all, at least not yet. I've built computers or messed with the software settings since 2005 back when 2 cores was insane! My current project that I'm working on is using training a small local LLM on truck fuel efficiency stats. Then have it pull routing info that has road grade data to get you a better average miles per gallon for a given trip.
