Last two days was something special.
I got the chance to speak at a two-day AWS Academy Workshop hosted in collaboration with Gujarat Technological University (GTU) and AWS User Group Ahmedabad โ and honestly, the energy in the room reminded me why I love community learning so much.
I delivered a session on AWS Storage Services, a topic close to my heart because of how central it is to building real-world cloud solutions.
What I Covered: The Storage Trio โ๏ธ๐ฆ
My talk focused on three major AWS storage offerings:
๐น Amazon S3 โ Object storage for everything from static websites to backups
๐น Amazon EBS โ High-performance block storage for EC2
๐น Amazon EFS โ Scalable file storage you can mount across instances
We explored use cases, pricing strategies, security tips, and even the small details โ like when to choose EFS vs. EBS, or how to use S3 lifecycle rules to save costs.
It wasnโt just a lecture. It became a conversation.
Why This Event Mattered
Sure, I shared what I know โ but I also learned.
Events like this remind me that cloud isnโt just tech โ itโs people, curiosity, and momentum. From chai-break conversations to setup-and-teardown hustle, everything was driven by passion.
Looking Ahead
This session was just one small step in a much bigger journey. Iโm actively exploring more ways to contribute โ through meetups, open source, and yes, blog posts like this.
If youโre also on your AWS learning path, letโs connect. Iโm always up for knowledge-sharing, tech talks, and mentoring.
