Professional : Spent the day working on video templates and assets that the team can use when we create tutorial videos. It's going pretty well. Getting better at this program to make the assets. There's a lot to the program. Also found a program to covert my screen recordings so I can upload to the program.
Personal : Last night I finished up the Web Component and published it. When I included into the project, it worked, but when I reloaded the page, I got a 404 error on some files. Looked into it and it seems that in the library I'm using for the Web Component has some references to files using relative URLs so when my project's Service Worker cached the files, it would try and pull from the wrong location. Another thing I noticed was that when I navigate away and back to the page with the Web Component, so attributes would be missing. Funny thing is that only the attribute with a hyphen/dash was left. I'll have to investigate it more. Spent some time looking into how to send push notifications in my side project. I'm thinking I'll put all that on a subdomain so that the front page is as quick a possible. Just watched an episode of "Yasuke" and went to sleep.
Asked some folks in a Web Component community Slack channel if anyone has run into the issue I ran into. One person said it could be a bug and another offered some suggestions that I was thinking about doing also. I just wanted to see if anyone had the solution before I start hacking something together. Going to spend some time working on it and see what I can do. I can't believe it's Wednesday already! Probably go through some tracks for the radio show. Then watch "Yasuke" and go to bed.
Have a great night!
