The Home Decor Upgrades That Made the Biggest Difference for Me

Over the past few months, I've been trying to make my living room feel more polished without spending a fortune or committing to a full renovation.

What surprised me was how much impact a few carefully chosen homeware pieces could have.

I started with simple additions—a ceramic vase, a matching set of coasters, and a couple of planters. None of them were expensive, but together they made the room feel far more intentional. Later, I added some wall art, which helped tie everything together and gave the space a bit more personality.

A few things I've learned:

Small decorative accents can completely change the feel of a room.
Matching materials and colors create a more cohesive look.
Functional items like coasters and planters don't have to be boring.
Quality pieces tend to look better and last longer than trendy impulse purchases.

The best part is that you don't need to redesign an entire room. Sometimes one shelf, coffee table, or empty corner is enough to start transforming a space.

What's the smallest decor purchase you've made that had the biggest impact on your home? 👇

That ceramic vase sounds lovely—it's those small touches that really make a space feel curated. I've been eyeing their planters for a while, how's the weight on them?
