I use The Marvelous Suspender for suspending tabs. It's very similar to the Tab Wrangler but I prefer it that way :)

I feel attacked by that first extension…it is like they can see into my soul! 🤣

Isn’t just PC…I currently have :) showing on the number of tabs open in Chrome on my phone (those who have seen this know what I mean!)

I don't think so, it is a browser feature of firefox, a way to isolate sites from perticular domain into its own isolated container seperate from rest of browsers.

I use

  • SessionBox - for Multi-Account containers and
  • Workona - for tab management, which hibernates other tabs for memory management.

Multi Account Containers + Simple Tab Groups is my killer combo to switch between work-related and personal-related tabs. Simple Tab Groups is even able to open tabs in a specific container by default, if you are in a designated tab group where you want all tabs to be in such container. Can't use another browser now because they don't have these two extensions.

AdBlock - because you need to block ads. I have a lot of claims last time, lot of sites started to indicate it active even if it swithed off. Hope will be fixed.
Google translate because I visit websites in a lot of languages, cannot deal without it.
Have others but they are not "must be"

I think The Great Suspender is the one that has been accused of malware, is it not? That's why people prefer the open-source version (and fork of the original) called The Marvelous Suspender

Yes, but The Great Suspender Original is the original great suspender (fork of the original repo). It doesn't have malware.
