When people like, follow or repost you, GOMAX warms the relationship back for you - automatically, without spamming.

What it is

Social Engagement reads your Bluesky and Mastodon notifications and, for people who like, follow or repost you, it follows them back and likes one of their recent posts (once per person). A daily cap keeps it from looking automated, obvious spam accounts are skipped, and to stop your following list ballooning it can auto-unfollow anyone who never follows you back after a set number of days. It only ever touches accounts it acted on - never your own manual follows.

How to turn it on

  • Connect Bluesky and/or Mastodon in GOMAX and Social and Connections.
  • Turn on Engagement and pick what runs: follow-back, like-back, daily cap, and the unfollow-after-N-days cleanup.
  • It then runs on its own every hour.

Frequently asked questions

Which networks does it work on?

Bluesky and Mastodon - the open networks whose APIs allow it. Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and similar forbid automated follow or like actions, so those are publish-only.

Will my following list get out of control?

No. You set an unfollow-after-N-days rule (default 14) and GOMAX quietly unfollows people who never followed you back, so the list stays lean. You can also turn follow-back off entirely.
