GOMAX shows you exactly which AI engines are crawling your site and whether they cite you - the real scoreboard for getting recommended by AI.
What it is
AI Visibility tracks two things over the last 30 days: AI-engine visits (how often crawlers like Gemini, ChatGPT, Bing/Copilot, Claude, Perplexity, Mistral, Cohere and others fetch your pages) and citations (clicks that come from an AI answer recommending you). A per-engine table shows visits and when each engine was last seen.
How it works
GOMAX recognises the crawler signatures of the major AI engines and counts their visits, and it watches referral traffic from AI answer engines to count citations. Visits mean the AI knows your content exists and is ingesting it; citations mean an AI answer sent someone to you. A high visits number with low citations is normal for a newer site - crawling comes first, and citations follow once your pages rank and earn trust, which can take weeks. Keeping structured data, FAQ content and llms.txt current (all built into GOMAX) is what moves citations up over time.
How to turn it on
- Open the AI Visibility panel in GOMAX.
- Read AI-engine visits (are the crawlers reaching you) and citations (are you being recommended).
- Boost both by keeping GEO signals on - structured data, FAQ content, llms.txt and AI-crawler access.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I have lots of AI visits but zero citations?
That is normal for a newer site. Crawling comes first; citations follow once your pages are indexed, rank and earn trust - often weeks later. Keep your GEO signals current to speed it up.
Which AI engines does it track?
The major ones - Gemini, ChatGPT, Bing/Copilot, Claude, Perplexity, Mistral, Cohere, You.com and more - by their crawler signatures, plus citation referrals from AI answers.
