Eugenia Kuyda has officially launched Wabi, a multi-threaded personal AI assistant app.
Built around a messenger-style interface, Wabi allows users to run multiple agentic threads and automatically generates custom apps based on user activity like emails.
The architecture also supports collaborative shared chats and maintains SOC 2 compliance while operating entirely in the cloud.
Kuida left Replika last year to found a new company, Wabi. On Monday, Wabi officially launched its personal AI app to all users.
How the new app works
The app resembles a messaging app and allows users to maintain parallel conversations and customized tools for different tasks. The company has changed its original direction: instead of a platform where users built small applications themselves, the system now works automatically and creates tools based on user activity, such as emails.
Another feature of the app is shared conversations, where multiple users can interact with the AI together. In these group conversations, members can choose to share personal information, such as email, calendar, or banking details. All participants can see when personal information is requested.

Security and economic future
According to Kuida, Wabi follows SOC 2 security standards, operates entirely remotely, and stores most user data in the United States.
The app is currently available for free. The company has not yet decided what its business model will be, while it is in discussions to raise additional funding.
