Improve the interface without weakening the contract

Three of my PRs merged in October 2026: Refund Desk on October 2, Grain Studio on October 5, and my website on October 22. These are contribution dates, not deployment claims or claims of sole project authorship.

1. Bind actions to saved evidence

Refund Desk separates customer claims from merchant confirmations and PayPal facts. Approval binds the exact saved review, case version, and full USD sandbox amount. A durable submission claim precedes the refund; an independent readback verifies the result.

The reusable principle is to identify the decision being authorized precisely. Also keep validation boundaries explicit: matching a quotation does not prove the interpretation is correct.

2. Make output behavior explicit

Grain Studio adds deterministic, colour-preserving Silver Grain without changing existing effect IDs or recipe URLs. PNG/WebP alpha remains intact; JPEG white flattening is disclosed. Bounded worker exports and cancellation make export handling part of the design rather than an afterthought.

Before changing a renderer, list the contracts that existing recipes and output formats depend on.

3. Preserve context during discovery

My website adds dated, source-linked publication records, keyboard-accessible search, and a photo gallery retaining original captions, posting dates, and Instagram links.

Discovery should shorten the path to content without stripping away provenance. Static screenshots can illustrate layout, but they cannot establish interaction behavior or deployment status.
