Creating your first ZIMRA Fiscal Invoice with Panier: A Step By Step Guide

Now that your ZIMRA Fiscalisation integration is now live, let's create our very first Fiscal Tax Invoice on Panier. If you want to apply for ZIMRA Fiscalisation on Panier see Appling for ZIMRA Fiscalisation with Panier: A Step By Step Guide.

Create Invoice

Go to the Invoices page of your Panier company and click Create.

Add a customer

Click Add Customer in order to create a new customer.

Then after click Create in order to add our new customer to our invoice.

Add Additional Information

Now we add the Payment information, Terms and Conditions and Payment Due date. However the Payment information and; Terms and Conditions are optional fields and can be skipped.

Add a product

Now click Add Product in order to create a new product

Now we create our product making sure to put the HS Code and ZIMRA Tax which in this case is Standard Rated 15.5%. Panier can also help you find your product's HS Code if you add a product description and click Help me find an HS Code. An HS Code is a unique identifiers that can be used to describe any kind of physical product and as of 2025 is now a pre-requisite if you want to create a Fiscal Tax Invoice.

ZIMRA Fiscalise

Now we click the checkbox on the bottom left labelled ZIMRA Fiscalise and click Create.

Preview Invoice

A preview of the Fiscal Tax Invoice will popup.

Panier also allows you choose from 30 background templates.

And 22 color palettes in order to customize your invoice.

Now we click Continue when we are satisfied with our invoice.

Et Voila 🎉

And if you followed the instructions carefully you should have successfully created your very first Fiscal Tax Invoice.

I want you to pay close attention to the QR Code in the center. That is confirmation that our invoice has been fiscalised and if we click the verify link next to it. We will be redirected this ZIMRA portal.
