Flutter got me to ship, Swift keeps me honest

I've been shipping cross-platform apps with Flutter for a while, and I keep coming back to one tradeoff: velocity vs. platform feel.

Flutter is fantastic when the app is mostly custom UI. But the moment you need the platform to feel right — share sheets, text selection, back gestures — you can feel the abstraction.

Lately I've been prototyping the same screen in SwiftUI and Flutter to compare. It's slower, but it's teaching me where the seams are.

I'm learning Rust on the side for a tiny CLI tool. The borrow checker is humbling. Any tips for someone coming from Kotlin/Swift?
