Raid is a 1989 sci-fi-themed action game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Players assume the role of Shadow, an elite narcotics officer sent to bring down the criminal mastermind Pit Bull. The game is a side-scrolling shooter, platformer, exploration and futuristic combat. Players go to places like the Pier, Swamp, Technopolis, Space and Computer Station. Shadow has to kill enemies, pick up useful items and avoid dangerous obstacles like mines and lasers. There are also unique boat and space sections to mix things up. The 2020 Raid offers a unique classic gaming experience, with challenging gameplay, retro NES graphics, and a science fiction setting.
