Years of work can sit inside a platform you don't fully control. If your courses live on Kajabi, there's a catch: it has no single-click way to export a full course. You get templates, per-video downloads and contact exports, but not a complete copy of your content.
That's a problem if you plan to migrate, want a safety copy, or worry about losing access to your account.
The manual route
You can download videos one lesson at a time from inside Kajabi. That's fine for a course or two. With dozens of courses and thousands of lessons, it takes days and it's easy to miss files.
Automating it with a Chrome extension
I built Kajabi Course Backup Tool to close that gap. It:
Scans your Kajabi account and lists your courses and lessons
Lets you select all courses or tick only the ones you want
Saves them in bulk to a local folder or Google Drive
Resumes a backup if it gets interrupted
Sends files straight from Kajabi to you, with nothing passing through our servers
It's an independent tool, not made by or affiliated with Kajabi.
Choosing where to save
Local backups are faster. Google Drive saves each file to your Drive, so it takes longer but keeps everything in the cloud.
Tracking progress
The extension shows how many files are done and how many remain, and you can resume if you stop.
Setup
Setup is a one-time process with a few steps, including a Chrome download setting for local backups. After that, each backup is one click. Full walkthrough: https://backupmykajabi.com/how-to-backup-kajabi-courses
Pricing
$150 one-time for 1 Kajabi connection, and $70 for each extra connection (an extra Kajabi account).

I'd like feedback from other course creators: what else would you want it to back up?
