Laifen SE Pros and Cons: An Unfiltered Review After Months of Testing

There is no shortage of positive reviews for popular products. The Laifen SE has plenty of them. What is harder to find is a review that names what the product gets slightly wrong alongside what it gets very right. Here is that review.

The motor. The brushless design at 108,000 RPM delivers real-world performance that matches the specification claims. Faster drying, lower noise, and consistent airflow are all genuine.
The accessories. The included nozzle set is genuinely useful and covers more styling scenarios than the base Swift model. Each attachment does something specific, and the attachment mechanism is secure.
Hair condition over time. After months of use, the reduction in cumulative heat exposure shows in hair condition in a real way. This is the outcome I was most skeptical about, and the one I was most convinced by.

The cool shot button placement. On some sessions, I found myself searching for it while holding a section — not a major issue, but worth noting compared to dryers where the button is more intuitively positioned.
No carrying case included at this price point. A structured storage case would add value, especially for travel use.
Filter cleaning requires regular attention to maintain performance — this is standard for any powerful dryer but the access design could be slightly more convenient.
The Balanced Assessment
The Laifen SE is an excellent product. The things it gets right are core, meaningful, and consistent. The things it gets slightly wrong are peripheral and easily managed. If you are looking for a high-speed dryer that genuinely improves your hair routine, this earns a confident
