LaTeX & Maths: Advanced Operators

Hello, how are you? :)

In this post I explain some advanced operators for Calculus and some other useful operators. Let's start!!!

Limits This operation has its own command and it is shown according with the mode that you are using

Sum This is a common operation in math, the operator is denoted by capital Sigma, but the operator is given by \sum. You can put more details with \substack

Integrals There are different ways to produce an integral in LaTeX

  • Sometimes we need to operate with multiple integrals, my suggestion is that you just put one integral symbol and distinguish between the integrals by the differential (line, surface or volume)

Product As the sums, the product symbol is a capital Pi, however, the symbol for this operator is \prod
