Hey everyone! 👋 I'm Lindamell, a Front-End Web Developer who leaped at an administrative career into the tech world. My journey started at Azubi Africa, where I got hands-on experience with front-end development, and it’s been an exciting ride ever since! Every project I take on pushes me to learn, adapt, and grow—and this one is no different.
I’m working on the Learner’s Application Interface as part of the Talent Mobility Program (TMP) with Azubi Africa. It’s my first time tackling a project like this, and I’m pumped up for the challenge. My goal? To build an app that is functional, scalable, and maintainable—something that can make an impact!
Project Overview & Deliverables
The app is all about creating a smooth and intuitive experience for learners. Some of the key features I’m working on include:
✅ Learner’s Homepage – A clean and user-friendly landing page.
✅ Login & Signup – A secure authentication system for easy access.
✅ Dashboard – A space where learners can track their progress.
✅ Navigation System – Seamless and intuitive UI for accessibility.
✅ User Profile Management – Options for learners to update their details.
Challenges & Solutions
I had a structured execution plan, but technical setbacks have slowed me down. The low RAM capacity on my current laptop has significantly slowed my workflow, and to top it off, VS Code refuses to open (developer nightmare, right? 😩). The fix? Despite these challenges, I am determined to move forward My planned solution is to upgrade to a higher-spec laptop to improve efficiency and allow me to work without interruptions.
What’s Next?
In my next update, I’ll share how I’m implementing key features, the progress I’ve made, and any lessons I pick up along the way. I’d love to hear from fellow developers—if you’ve worked on a similar project or have any tips, drop them in the comments! 🚀
Looking forward to making some real progress in the coming weeks!
