KNOTS on STONK: the meme coin that spells its parent backwards

KNOTS on STONK overview: live figures and the open question

Most Solana memecoins are born with a story and a chart. KNOTS on STONK starts with a trick of spelling: $STONK
read backwards is $KNOTS — the same five letters in the other order. The whole visual identity (a pixel wordmark
that flips letter by letter, a "reverse the world" logo, an Upside-Down-world aesthetic) is built on that one
observation. The interesting question is what has been built on top.

What Knots is

KNOTS is a Solana token launched on the StonkFun launchpad. Its core claim is mechanical: hold $KNOTS and earn
$STONK. A 3% tax applies to every transfer of $KNOTS on any venue; the collected tax is paid to holders in STONK,
pro-rata, minus an approximately 2.5% operations fee. Payouts are batched: tax accumulates until it is worth
distributing, then goes to wallets holding at least $20 of $KNOTS at that moment.

That is a real, if modest, economic loop, and it does not depend on the price rising — it depends on transfer
volume. Every buy, sell and transfer feeds the holder pool, making the reward stream a function of activity rather
than speculation: a design that rewards the token being used, not merely held.

The project has built more surface than most memecoins its age: a browser game (Reverse jump), a gallery of 55
stickers, memes and art under an explicit "save them, post them" licence, a 50,000-STONK trading cup, and a
Kickback page showing a wallet how much STONK its KNOTS has paid out. It is a coherent set of things a community
can actually do with the token.

The Mycelium connection

Knots is one of the projects in the Mycelium Strategy. Mycelium Finance pairs $MYC liquidity directly with selected
Solana projects across DeFi, RWA, AI, GameFi and Meme, and its allocation page lists every dollar of that liquidity
and where it is planted. At the time of writing (2026-10-19) the table shows $32,544 of liquidity across eight
connected projects, and Knots is the largest single allocation at 22.9%, visible on Raydium as the MYC/KNOTS pool.

That is a concrete, checkable relationship, and it cuts both ways. A MYC/KNOTS pool means deeper routable liquidity
and a second venue beyond the main pair. It also means part of the project's liquidity is tied to another token's
treasury strategy: if MYC's allocation policy changes, KNOTS loses a pool.

Live versus planned

Live today: the token; 27 trading pairs across Raydium and Meteora, the deepest holding roughly $295,000 of liquidity
and doing roughly $126,000 of volume in 24 hours; the holder-reward tax loop; the gallery and game; the trading cup.
Market cap sits near $3.1-3.2M, with fully diluted valuation in the same range.

Planned or unverifiable: the holder-reward dashboard currently shows "n/a" for paid-to-holders, waiting-to-distribute
and payout count. The mechanism is described precisely; the live numbers are not yet published. That is the single most
important thing to watch, because the entire "hold KNOTS, earn STONK" pitch rests on it.

One promising aspect, one real risk

The promising aspect is the tax-to-holders loop: it pays holders for network activity rather than for holding, and it is
funded by a tax that applies on every venue, so it does not depend on one exchange's fee schedule. If volume holds up,
the reward stream is self-sustaining in a way most memecoin "utility" claims are not.

The risk is the same loop read the other way. A 3% transfer tax is friction on every trade — the kind of cost that
pushes volume toward venues that do not levy it. And distribution has an explicit minimum: wallets holding less than
$20 at distribution time receive nothing, so the smallest holders subsidise the largest. Neither makes the design wrong,
but both mean the economics reward size and patience rather than participation.

One unanswered question, stated plainly: the public reward dashboard shows no payouts yet, so the "hold and earn" half
of the pitch is, for now, a mechanism rather than a track record. Until the first batched distribution is visible
on-chain, the honest description is "designed and funded by volume", not "proven".
