Hey, man. I like the way you describe and point out the characteristics of each one of these icon libraries.

Me, personally, I like to use a mix of icons from all o those collections, as long as they match in style (some times, they don't). I like to decide first if the project needs solid or outlined icons, then, I go through icon search to see which ones fit my needs.

I would like to recommend you to check out rocketicons. It is a lib I built with a friend of mine that aims to simplify icon management and bring the flexibility of Tailwind to icons. The lib allows you to use a single code that works both on web and mobile and we do the necessary changes under the hood. If you use it just for one platform, that's Ok, the other code won't bloat your app bundle. We also provide most of those icon collections you mentioned, including Lucide and Phosphor Icons (which, by the way, is the biggest one with over 7k icons). In total, we provide more than 54k icons for anyone to use and customize just using Tailwind utility classes. And we are planning to bring more premium features in the future but right now, everything is free and open source.

Yep MUI is my go-to. There's been very few instances where they haven't had the icon I need.

I don't really stick with 1 or 2 icon libraries.

Whenever I need icons, I go to yesicon.app/ and pick anything that I like lol

Each icon has a different design philosophy and style. Use it for your own service.
