What is Butterfly Backup
Butterfly Backup (BB) is a simple wrapper of rsync written in python;
Why use it?
Because it is simple and very effective, as it catalogs the backups performed (and archived).
BB is a simple tool, born from a very clear need: to make backups without having agents that slow down the machine and to have catalogs for the interrogation by operators in case of restore.
Thanks to an active community, BB has arrived at version 1.5, but 2.0 is in development.
