About 45 days ago, I launched a small real-time face swap project called LiveFaceSwap AI.
Current numbers:
- 11 paying users
- around 100 visits per day
- Ahrefs DR 35 in about a month
I originally thought most of my time would go into building features.
Instead, a huge part of the work became distribution: submitting the product to different platforms, writing content, joining communities, and figuring out which channels actually bring useful traffic.
Some sources brought a decent number of visitors but almost no paying users. A few smaller channels performed much better than expected.
The biggest thing I’ve learned so far is that building the product is only half the work. Getting the right people to discover it can take just as much effort.
