AURALIS — Building a JARVIS-Level AI Assistant From Scratch

AURALIS is an open-source, local-first AI operating system designed to feel and think like J.A.R.V.I.S. — but engineered for real-world developer workflows.

It’s a terminal-based assistant that talks, listens, reads your screen, automates tasks, and executes code — all under 100 MB.

⚙️ Runs offline by default, with optional Hugging Face API augmentation.

💡 Why AURALIS?

Most assistants are either chatbots or UI toys. Auralis is different.

It’s a developer-grade AI modal — with:

  • A Terminal HUD interface inspired by JARVIS
  • Offline reasoning powered by TinyGPT
  • System-level control, including window, shell, and file management
  • Voice activation with waveform animation
  • Screen reading and context inference
  • Hugging Face hooks for online tasks when you enable cloud mode

Feel free to contribute to this project and leave a star on GitHub.
