Building the Procurement Brain knowledge system through source-of-truth discipline and evidence rules

People see a finished Procurement Brain and think it appeared overnight.

What actually happened was strict discipline: I refused to restart from zero.

I treated every existing asset—the book, prior research, procurement explanations, and visuals—as one connected knowledge base under a strict source-of-truth rule:
• Keep what is correct
• Expand what is incomplete
• Add what is genuinely missing
• Replace what is weak or wrong
• Remove unnecessary duplication

The hardest part was evidence discipline. I set a firm rule: never invent personal procurement experience. Documented experience, general knowledge, inference, and new research must remain clearly separate. If the material does not support a claim, flag the gap instead of quietly filling it.

That is the real skill in procurement and building knowledge systems—not producing more content, but building one coherent system you can actually study, reference, and use to make decisions.
