Export web highlights to Obsidian or Notion as Markdown

If you read on the web and keep notes in Obsidian, Notion or Logseq, copying quotes by hand breaks your flow and loses the source link. A highlighter that exports Markdown turns a page into a note in one click.

Workflow

  1. Highlight text on any page with a highlighter extension (I use my own, Glowmark).
  2. Click a highlight to add your own note.
  3. Open the side panel → Copy as Markdown.
  4. Paste into a new note.

Title as heading, source link, each highlight as a quote with your note under it. Obsidian and Notion render it as quote blocks.

How the highlights survive page changes

Glowmark stores each highlight as a text quote plus some prefix/suffix context (like the W3C text-quote selector), not as DOM offsets, so highlights re-anchor when a site changes its layout. Everything stays in the browser; nothing is uploaded.
