Its not all about coding junior engineers

Develop these on top of coding to take your game to the next level

  1. Learn to be a sponge. Absorb as much knowledge from others as you can.
  2. Help others. You will need their help later.
  3. Know when you are stuck.
  4. Encourage feedback from others.
  5. Know the right time to ask for help. 15 minutes of trying in my experience.
  6. Learn to question others without making them feel threatened.
  7. Don't be afraid to make mistakes.
  8. Seek learning opportunities outside your comfort zone.
  9. Focus on one thing at a time.
  10. Encourage others to question you.
  11. Learn how to effectively communicate your progress.
  12. Know it's okay to have opinions. Know it's also okay to change your opinions.
