Abstract
The Fire from Within (chs. 7-10 and 18) presents the assemblage point as the position at which a world becomes perceptually coherent and from which another world may become accessible. This essay does not defend that metaphysics and does not reduce it to a physical mechanism. It asks a narrower architectural question: what existing mathematical types are needed to state the phenomenon without treating a world, an identity, a history, and a selector as the same thing?
Within a predeclared class of admissibility-first long-horizon systems, the accessibility aspect has a continuation-theoretic in-class analogue that is neither a point nor a single formal object. It is the joint reading of an addressed identity and the generator-relative field of admissible continuations available at the recorded edge of its history. A shift is then an identity-preserving realised event that changes that continuation field at the new recorded edge, not a free movement of an internal knob; the generator-relative window is not assumed to exhaust every realised continuer. The proposed holding analogue of fixation carries a nondecreasing cost record; closure preserves but never reuses the identity address; and the admissibility boundary remains prior to the runtime that acts under it. An explicit projection-preserving product-event construction proves that the subclass of published NC2.5 load-bearing witnesses admitting a projection-preserving realisation of the selected Crown continuation data is non-empty; in the constructed expansion, the pre- and post-event fields are non-empty and inclusion-incomparable, and that incomparability coexists with a nondecreasing cumulative record on the same transition. A conditional consequence is stated separately: under declared sealed-witness premises, wear of the witness register by arbitrarily small steps is untypeable in the class; those premises are not declared by the present work.
The result is deliberately class-relative. It is not a universal theory of consciousness, a physics of perception, or a claim to the first mathematical formalisation of the assemblage point. Its contribution is a continuation-theoretic architectural reading inside an already declared mathematical architecture. It does not define an observation map from perceptual coherence to continuation geometry.
0. Scope before comparison
The comparison is restricted before it begins. Its domain is a typed combination of two already specified constructions: the admissibility-first, long-horizon substrate class of Navigational Cybernetics 2.5 and the typed trajectory models declared in Architectural Evolution with Navigational Cybernetics. Part One - The Crown. The constructive non-emptiness result below is narrower than a full membership proof for either corpus: it concerns the subclass of published NC2.5 load-bearing witnesses that admit a projection-preserving combined realisation of the selected Crown continuation data. In this essay, closed class means that membership conditions, types, and admissible operations are fixed before the comparison and are not enlarged to rescue an analogy. It does not assert topological or algebraic closure under an unspecified operation.
The method is positive. A Castanedan description is admitted only when an independently defined object in the corpus has a named phenomenological shadow in the primary texts. A mismatch is also a result. Loose resemblances are marked as such and carry no conclusion. Castaneda supplies phenomenology; the mathematical corpus supplies types. Neither is allowed to rewrite the other after the fact.
This discipline matters because the phrase assemblage point arrives without a type. It can mean a location, a selector, a state, a centre of attention, a source of identity, or a mechanism of transition. Those roles are not interchangeable. The question is therefore not whether the phrase can be translated into a symbol. The question is which distinctions must survive the translation.
1. The point is not a point
The Crown distinguishes the Unit, the field of individuation, the history of an executable shell, and the geometry of its continuations.
The Unit 1_i^{[ℓ]} is an identity projection. The field I is a separate fibre: the family of operator-compatible preimages that project to that Unit. It is not the Unit's history and it is not a coordinate appended to the Unit. The addressed identity is instead the typed pair
ℐ_i^{[ℓ]} := ⟨1_i^{[ℓ]}, γ_i^{[ℓ]}⟩,
where γ_i^{[ℓ]} is the irreversible shell history carried by the line. Even this pair is not yet an assemblage position. It tells us whose line is being read and what irreversible path it carries; it does not by itself state what remains possible from its present edge.
For a recorded terminal state x_t of that history, the Crown separately defines the generator-relative admissible continuation field
Succ_{adm, ℓ}^{[R, c]}(x_t) := Cand_ℓ^{[R]}(x_t) ∩ Succ_{adm, ℓ}^{[R]}(x_t).
Here c marks the finite-computable candidate-generator reading imported from the Crown. The declared generator is the map Cand_ℓ^{[R]}; no additional free parameter c is suppressed on the right-hand side.
The proposed continuation-theoretic in-class analogue of the assemblage point's accessibility aspect is the joint reading of these two existing objects: the addressed identity ℐ_i^{[ℓ]} and its current continuation field at the recorded edge. This is not an equality defining a new primitive. It is an architectural interpretation of a typed relation already present in the corpus.
The identity answers: whose possibilities are these? The continuation field answers: which candidate next states remain admissible for that identity in model R, at level ℓ, under the declared generator? Their conjunction gives an identity-relative position in a geometry of admissible continuation.
This typing immediately blocks four collapses. The assemblage position is not the Unit alone, because identity without continuation has no position in a space of possible next states. It is not field I, because individuation and executable history are different types. It is not history alone, because a record does not determine its admissibility boundary from itself. And it is not the admissibility predicate, because the predicate grounds the field within which a position can be read; it is not one of the positions it judges.
2. The holding analogue of fixation leaves a cost record
Castaneda repeatedly treats the ordinary world as stabilised by habitual fixation, repeated acts, and attention. The Fire from Within (chs. 7-9) makes that connection explicit; Journey to Ixtlan (ch. 15) distinguishes doing from not-doing as different relations to an experienced world. The architectural rhyme is real, but it describes one narrower register rather than identity as a whole.
In the Crown, the line-indexed verdict Hld_{i, t}^{[R, d]}(e;Δt) = 1 holds only when line i is active and a positive carrier-level hold_d contribution is recorded. The contribution belongs to the carrier; under a shared carrier, co-carried lines read the same domain coordinate, and a model that distinguishes the acts of co-carried lines is obliged to declare line-separating domains d - the present work declares none. The cumulative holding functional is nondecreasing. It is therefore a cumulative cost record: performed holding leaves a trace that later description cannot erase. It must not be identified with the substrate burden Φ unless the model declares a map between them.
This corrects two tempting but false identifications. First, Hld = 0 is not a mathematical definition of the not-doing described in Journey to Ixtlan (ch. 15). It says only that the line-indexed predicate does not certify execution in the specified case; it does not establish the absence of a carrier-level record. Second, cumulative hold is not personal power. It records what has been incurred. If personal power has any formal shadow here, it is only a loose one: the remaining substrate reserve τ = C-Φ, rather than either the cumulative hold_d record or the accumulated substrate burden Φ. No claim in this essay depends on that analogy.
The distinction separates three registers. The identity ledger records which event happened to which addressed line and preserves its genealogy. The cumulative holding coordinate records the cost of performed holding acts. The substrate pair (Φ, τ) records structural burden and remaining budget. None is interchangeable with another: an immutable event record is not automatically an irreversible load, a holding-cost record is not the substrate burden without a declared map, and an irreversible load is not an identity address. Castaneda's language of fixation does not separate these registers in the terms required here; the typed architecture must.
A companion work of the corpus, Identity Does Not Drift, sharpens the register distinction. Drift is defined there as budget-style wear: monotone accumulation through admissible increments with no positive minimum step. Under separately declared premises, such wear is excluded for the witness register (§3.2). This supplies only a disciplined analogy: holding may be read as a carrier-level cost record, while budget wear and substrate burden remain different registers. The present essay does not identify Castaneda's ordinary world with any one of them and declares no observation map from his phenomenology to the holding coordinate, the budget register, or the substrate burden.
3. A shift is an event
An admissible continuation is not yet a realised continuation. At the recorded edge, the Crown distinguishes the admissible set from the event-realised set:
Succ_{real, ℓ}^{e[R]}(ℐ_i^{[ℓ]}, x_t) := Succ_{adm, ℓ}^{[R]}(x_t) ∩ Next_{e, ℓ}^{[R]}(ℐ_i^{[ℓ]}, x_t).
That distinction supplies the event type needed to speak about a shift, with two qualifications. The displayed assemblage position is generator-relative, whereas Succ_{real, ℓ}^{e[R]} is intersected with the unbounded Succ_{adm, ℓ}^{[R]}; a realised continuer therefore need not have appeared in Succ_{adm, ℓ}^{[R, c]}. A realised continuer extends the shell genealogy in either case. When it lies in the generator-relative field, it realises one of the position's exposed continuations; otherwise it exposes the limit of that bounded position rather than a movement generated from within it. Under fixed R, ℓ, and the declared generator, not every state-changing event is a shift. Because the addressed history extends at every realised event, shift here names a change in the generator-relative continuation-field component under identity-preserving history extension; it is not the mere fact that the full typed record has changed. The event counts as a shift of assemblage position only when the realised continuer is unique, the former Unit is preserved, and the generator-relative continuation field at the new recorded edge differs from the previous one. An identity-preserving state transition that leaves that field unchanged extends the addressed history without shifting the continuation-field component; identity replacement or branching begins a new addressed line or lines rather than moving the former position. An unchanged carry-forward is a continuation but not a shift. None of these is the intention to move, the availability of an alternative, or the action of an internal selector.
Four cases matter.
- If there is one realised continuer x'_1 and identity is preserved, the Unit remains the same. An unchanged carry-forward is possible. Under radical transformation, when the declared K_ℓ connects the states and IdPres_ℓ^{[R]}(ℐ_i^{[ℓ]}, {x'_1}, x'_1) = 1, the Crown calls the case a metamorphosis of form. A radical alteration need not be an identity replacement.
- If there is one realised continuer and identity is not preserved, a fresh Unit and address are issued. This is an identity metamorphosis, connected genealogically to the origin but not identical with it.
- If more than one continuer is realised, branching occurs. Each descendant receives a fresh Unit; the former Unit remains only in the origin registry.
- If the event-indexed set Succ_{real, ℓ}^{e[R]} is empty, event e closes the former identity at the chosen level ℓ. This does not by itself prove that every admissible interior or every topological witness has disappeared. It states that this addressed line has no realised continuer in that event.
The distinction between return and reuse follows. A later event may return an active line to a form it previously displayed while preserving its Unit. A closed address, however, is never issued again. Phenomenological return and architectural resurrection are therefore different claims.
The conclusion resists an instrumental reading. Within the declared class, mobility is not a button possessed by the governed process. The event may transform the line, but the line cannot acquire authority to revise the admissibility rule that types the transformation. If it does, the system has left the class under discussion.
3.1 A constructive non-emptiness witness
For a combined structure W, write M_W := π_{NC}(W) and N_W := π_{Cr}(W). Every Crown-side symbol below - R_W, Cand_W, K_W, ℐ^W, and the recorded states - denotes declared data of N_W, not free data imported from elsewhere.
Write Hist_W^{aa}(X_{0, W}) for the declared active admitted histories of N_W realised from its declared initial state X_{0, W}. Put
F_W(x) := Cand_{ℓ, W}^{[R_W]}(x) ∩ {x'∣K_{ℓ, W}(x, x') = 1}.
This is not new notation: the Crown defines the set of model-admissible continuations as Succ_{adm, ℓ}^{[R]}(x) = {x'∣K_ℓ(x, x') = 1}, so F_W is exactly the generator-relative field Succ_{adm, ℓ}^{[R_W, c]} of §1, written in the declared data of N_W. The construction below therefore witnesses a change in the very object through which position and shift were defined above.
Let ℭ_{NC}^{LB} denote the published NC2.5 load-bearing witness class - Axioms 7, 29, 31, the restricted form of 43, then Axioms 49, 60, 61, and the stated conditions of Theorem 62. Let 𝔓_{Cr}^{cont} denote only the Crown continuation profile used here: addressed Unit and history, a finite candidate generator, a non-identically-unit K_ℓ, empty and non-empty values of the K_ℓ-derived generator composite at terminal states of reachable active admitted histories from the declared X_0, event-realised continuation, identity preservation, Unit retention, explicit binding of each focal state to the terminal state of its recorded history, exact-prefix history extension, a neutral zero holding value on the declared zero-edge history, and a nonnegative edge-level hold_d contribution with a cumulative holding functional satisfying exact prefix accumulation on those histories.
Write Compat_{LB}(W, e) when M_W ∈ ℭ_{NC}^{LB}, N_W satisfies 𝔓_{Cr}^{cont}, every NC quantity and gate value factors through π_{NC}, and the typed product event e has both a declared NC action-realisation projection and a declared admitted Crown-transition projection, with its product endpoints projecting to the endpoints of those two records. Equality of event labels is neither required nor sufficient. This is a local compatibility definition for the pair, not a claim that the bare NC signature already contains Crown types or that the remainder of either corpus has been verified.
Define the subclass by the reduct fibre itself:
ℭ_{AP}^{LB} := {M ∈ ℭ_{NC}^{LB} | ∃W, i, ℓ, t, e, s_t, s_{t+1}, u, x_t, x_{t+1} [π_{NC}(W) = M, Compat_{LB}(W, e), π_{NC}^E(e) = (s_t, u, s_{t+1}), π_{Cr}^E(e) = (x_t, x_{t+1}), G_M(s_t, u) = 1, δ_M(u)>0, u ∉ A_{safe}^M, Succ_{real, ℓ, W}^{e[R_W]} (ℐ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]}, x_t) = {x_{t+1}}, x_{t+1} ∈ F_W(x_t), IdPres_{ℓ, W}^{[R_W]} (ℐ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]}, {x_{t+1}}, x_{t+1}) = 1, ℐ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]} = ⟨1_i^{[ℓ]}, γ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]}⟩, ℐ_{i, t+1}^{W, [ℓ]} = ⟨1_i^{[ℓ]}, γ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]}⌢(x_{t+1})⟩, last(γ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]}) = x_t, last(γ_{i, t+1}^{W, [ℓ]}) = x_{t+1}, γ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]}, γ_{i, t+1}^{W, [ℓ]} ∈ Hist_W^{aa}(X_{0, W}), F_W(x_t) ≠ ∅, F_W(x_{t+1}) ≠ ∅, F_W(x_t) ∖ F_W(x_{t+1}) ≠ ∅, F_W(x_{t+1}) ∖ F_W(x_t) ≠ ∅]}.
The last line excludes a mere narrowing: the two exposed fields must be incomparable by inclusion.
This incomparability does not contradict the monotone accumulation the corpus asserts elsewhere, because the statements concern different coordinates. What is monotone are the cumulative records - the holding coordinate and the substrate burden Φ - together with the strict narrowing of the retained field, which the Crown establishes through a separate positionally typed witness. No monotonicity premise is imposed here on the active generator-relative field itself. Its incomparability in the present witness is established directly by the two set differences below and weakens no monotone statement of the source.
Proposition 1. ℭ_{AP}^{LB} ≠ ∅.
Construction. Start with the explicit NC2.5 witness M = S^1 × [0, C], b = Φ, τ = C-b, θ̇ = ω, and ḃ = p(1-b/C). Choose C = 12, b_0 = 3, τ_{min} = 2, p = 2, and ω = 1, and write s_0 = (θ_0, b_0). Then τ_0 = 9>2, Φ̇(b_0) = 3/2>0, and the designated no-operation action u_0, with δ(u_0) = 0, supplies the published safe fallback. Add a focal action u_1 ∉ A_{safe} with δ(u_1) = 4; it is admitted at s_0 because C-b_0-δ(u_1) = 5 ≥ 2. The gate is consulted before the event and the governed runtime is not among its writers. This is a non-writability datum of the construction, not a proof of the gate's external provenance. The published NC2.5 formal witness establishes M ∈ ℭ_{NC}^{LB}; the accompanying script imports that source result rather than re-proving all of its flow and topological obligations.
Couple M to the finite labelled factor
X = {x_0, x_1, x_{old}, x_{new}, x_{aux}, x_∅}.
Declare X_0 = x_0, admitted event edges x_0 → x_1 and x_0 → x_∅, and the active admitted histories (x_0), (x_0, x_1), and (x_0, x_∅). Set
Cand(x_0) = {x_1, x_{old}}, Cand(x_1) = {x_{new}, x_{aux}}, Cand(x_∅) = ∅, K_X = {(x_0, x_1), (x_0, x_{old}), (x_0, x_∅), (x_1, x_{new}), (x_1, x_{aux}), (x_∅, x_0)}, K_{ℓ, W}(x, x') := 1_{K_X}(x, x').
with all other candidate sets empty. The criterion is not identically one - for example, K_{ℓ, W}(x_1, x_0) = 0. Hence
F_0 := F_W(x_0) = {x_1, x_{old}}, F_1 := F_W(x_1) = {x_{new}, x_{aux}}, F_∅ := F_W(x_∅) = ∅.
The terminal states x_0, x_1, x_∅ of the declared reachable active admitted histories therefore witness both values of the Crown composite. For the focal Crown projection, take the existential witness e to be the product occurrence e_∗ defined below and declare
e = e_∗, γ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]} = (x_0), γ_{i, t+1}^{W, [ℓ]} = (x_0, x_1), ℐ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]} = ⟨1_i^{[ℓ]}, (x_0)⟩, ℐ_{i, t+1}^{W, [ℓ]} = ⟨1_i^{[ℓ]}, (x_0, x_1)⟩, Next_{e_∗, ℓ, W}^{[R_W]} (ℐ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]}, x_0) = {x_1}, IdPres_{ℓ, W}^{[R_W]} (ℐ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]}, {x_1}, x_1) = 1.
Since x_1 ∈ F_W(x_0), the Crown definition gives Succ_{real, ℓ, W}^{e_∗[R_W]}(ℐ_{i, t}^{W, [ℓ]}, x_0) = {x_1}. These declarations retain 1_i^{[ℓ]} and extend (x_0) to (x_0, x_1) exactly.
For the holding coordinate, take both the contribution carrier and cumulative carrier to be ℝ_{≥ 0}, with the usual order, identity embeddings, addition as the accumulation law, and 0 as its neutral element. Declare edge contributions c_{hold}(x_0, x_1) = 3 and c_{hold}(x_0, x_∅) = 0, and cumulative values
H(x_0) = 0, H(x_0, x_1) = 3, H(x_0, x_∅) = 0.
Thus every declared admitted one-edge extension satisfies the exact law H(h⌢x') = H(h)+c_{hold}(last(h), x'), and the focal edge carries a strictly positive holding contribution.
In the expansion of M, declare the instantaneous authorised action-realisation record s_0 ⟶^{u_1}s_0. It is an authorised synchronisation projection, not a paid NC state transition, and changes neither the NC state law nor any NC quantity. Define one product event e_∗ by
e_∗:(s_0, x_0) ⟶ (s_0, x_1), π_{NC}^E(e_∗) = (s_0, u_1, s_0), π_{Cr}^E(e_∗) = (x_0, x_1).
Thus one event occurrence has the two required projections; the coupling is not inferred from matching names. Pulling the NC quantities back along π_{NC} makes them independent of the finite coordinate and leaves the bounded budget, pressure, spin, safe fallback, and prior gate unchanged. Consequently π_{NC}(W) = M and M ∈ ℭ_{AP}^{LB}, proving the subclass non-empty.
Proposition 2 (register separation). In the constructed witness the cumulative holding coordinate does not decrease when the history (x_0) is extended to (x_0, x_1), while the fields F_W(x_0) and F_W(x_1) are incomparable by inclusion.
Proof. On the focal edge, exact prefix accumulation gives H(x_0, x_1) = H(x_0)+c_{hold}(x_0, x_1) = 0+3 = 3, so the cumulative value strictly increases. Incomparability was established above by direct computation: x_{old} ∈ F_0 ∖ F_1 and x_{new} ∈ F_1 ∖ F_0. The scalar functional on histories and the set-valued field at a terminal state are distinct declared coordinates, and no order-preserving map between them is assumed. The increasing side and the incomparable side therefore coexist in one witness. □
This answers the objection that field incomparability weakens the monotone statements of the corpus. What is verified on the one object is the cumulative record together with the incomparability; the strict narrowing of the retained field is a separate statement of the source, established there by its own positionally typed witness and not recomputed here.
This is a load-bearing-core existence result for the selected Crown continuation profile, not a full A1-A61 conformance proof or an empirical model of a human subject. The accompanying standard-library certificate imports the published NC membership result, rechecks the numerical instance and the combined expansion with exact rational arithmetic, and exercises a first-failure mutation for each named executable condition.
3.2 Conditional quantisation of the witness register
The shift condition given above is declared, not derived, and the proposition below does not derive it. It does something narrower: under a further package of declarations, arbitrarily small wear of a sealed witness register is excluded.
Proposition 3 (conditional). Suppose a model declares, beyond the present class: (i) a finite identity-and-recurrence carrier ℳ^{rec}, distinct from the NC witness M above; (ii) a sealed witness [η] represented by integral cochain data, or by rational data with a common denominator q; (iii) declared recurrence classes represented by integral cycles γ; and (iv) a finite alphabet of transport events whose carrier-coherent restrictions are graph maps on ℳ^{rec}. For the transported-period observable 𝒲(ϕ, γ) = ⟨[η], ϕ_*[γ]⟩, the values lie in ℤ, or under the rational alternative in 1/qℤ. Consecutive transported values therefore either agree or differ by at least one lattice quantum. Hence, under those declarations, wear of the witness register by arbitrarily small steps is untypeable.
Scope. The statement is imported from Proposition 5.1 of Identity Does Not Drift, whose proof in turn uses the declared ONTOΣ XV transport apparatus; it is not reproved here. Premises (i)-(iv), the graph-map condition, and the transported-period observable are not declared by the present work: they enter only as a condition. The proposition concerns the witness register and asserts no quantisation of the continuation-field component; transferring the conclusion to the addressed identity ℐ_i^{[ℓ]} would require a declared map between it and [η], which is likewise absent here. Integrality, or a common denominator, is the load-bearing premise rather than a technical detail: without it the conclusion does not hold.
For the present material the distinction is only conditional. A gradual phenomenological slide could be represented by a continuously wearing register, but this essay does not establish that dreaming, illness, or fatigue instantiates the NC budget register; no observation map is declared. The sealed witness register, under declarations (i)-(iv), cannot wear in that manner: a change is either absent or event-sized. Gradual loss of that witness by arbitrarily small increments is in that case not difficult but inexpressible in the class.
4. Two windows, one recorded edge
The typed position has two directions.
Behind the recorded edge lies γ_i^{[ℓ]}: the irreversible shell history carried by the line. Identity events and accumulated burden are recorded in separate declared coordinates associated with that trajectory. Ahead lies Succ_{adm, ℓ}^{[R, c]}(x_t): the candidate continuations that remain admissible from that history in the declared model.
The past therefore fixes banks, not flow. It constrains the admissible side of the next step; admissibility alone does not select the realised event. The realised side is separately event-indexed through Succ_{real}. This avoids presentism and prevents the admissibility field from being mistaken for a deterministic selector; it does not establish that the realisation law is indeterministic. The system does not read an unmediated mathematical instant; the admissibility field alone does not determine its realised future.
Castaneda’s other worlds can now be read without turning them into parallel universes. Different levels ℓ, models R, declared candidate generators Cand_ℓ^{[R]}, and separately addressed lines whose bearers materially overlap can expose different continuation geometries. A world, in this restricted sense, is what remains admissibly continuable for an addressed identity under a declared model.
This is a model-relative statement, not an ontological inventory. If a model does not declare a level or a candidate family, the corresponding world is unavailable to that model; the mathematics does not infer that it is absolutely nonexistent. The gain is testability: the model, generator, identity address, candidate family, and continuation verdict are all named. The loss is metaphysical grandeur. That is a good exchange.
A separate question is whether a position can be read from outside rather than from within the declared model. Castaneda describes a seer who looks at another’s assemblage point; in typed terms that is not the same as reading one’s own recorded edge. Reading a position from external manifestations forms a distinct class of claims with its own admissibility conditions, whose schema is supplied by the companion work Identifiability Bridge; the present work declares no such conditions and therefore asserts nothing about external readability.
5. Closure preserves an address
In The Eagle’s Gift (ch. 9, The Rule of the Nagual), the Eagle consumes awareness. The present architecture has no object of that type.
When an addressed line closes, its closure marker and issued address remain in the registry, and that address is never reused. The statement is exact but limited. It does not prove personal survival, conservation of consciousness, or persistence outside the model. It says that the formal genealogy is not erased merely because execution has ended.
Closure is thus preservative in one register and terminal in another. The executable line has no realised continuer; the origin record remains. Nothing needs to eat the line, and nothing is restored by reassigning its name. The death of the line leaves an addressable event record; it does not become a reversible state.
6. The foundation is not the position
The continuation field is governed by admissibility, but admissibility is not contained in the dynamic state it judges. In the NC2.5 architecture, the boundary is fixed relative to the governed dynamics: runtime may read and enforce it, while the governed optimisation process may neither derive authority from itself nor turn the retained gate-evaluation statistic into an optimisation input without leaving the class.
It does not follow that nothing remains for the line to do. The companion work Admissibility Is Prior states the positive side of the same order: a system optimises inside whatever space it is permitted, and a foundation that is prior and non-actionable cannot be optimised against precisely because it is not in the space the system searches. In the class from which that distinction is taken, the controlling loop meanwhile pays: its actions are budget-charged, and what it spends is capacity, not identity. The witness of §3.1 does not illustrate this: its focal record is an authorised synchronisation projection, not a paid NC state transition, and changes no NC quantity. The line acts under the boundary without generating it. Revision of the rule is impossible; the choice of action within what is permitted belongs to the line, and with it the whole cost that the choice will record.
This separates the assemblage position from a runtime operator. An operator that reads a boundary and realises an allowed action is downstream of that boundary. It may change execution; it does not thereby become the source of admissibility. Placing the evaluator inside the same software product does not move the foundation into the governed layer. Access restrictions can state who may write a rule; they cannot supply the rule’s provenance or explain why it binds.
The assemblage position is therefore neither an internal module nor the foundation beneath modules. It is a model-local position readable only after identity, history, candidate continuations, and admissibility have already been distinguished. The foundation supplies the ground on which such a position can exist; it is not another coordinate of the position. The NC foundation meant in this section is not the Crown’s Operator Zero and does not replace it; the two have distinct typed roles.
7. Adjacent mathematical mappings
This essay does not claim the first mathematical formalisation of the assemblage point.
Jean-Patrick Pommier’s 2026 Bimetric Universe gives a projector interpretation through a family of Clifford-algebra idempotents,
P(θ, B̂) = (1+cosθ Ê_0+sinθ B̂)/(2),
for θ ∈ [0, π/2], with B̂² = Ê_0² = 1 and B̂Ê_0+Ê_0B̂ = 0; under these conditions P² = P, and θ selects sectors or subspaces. Pommier explicitly presents the construction as a mathematical metaphor rather than a physical prediction. It is a genuine formalisation, but its object is a projector selecting a subspace. It does not type an identity line, an irreversible history, an admissible continuation field, an event-realised successor, or the provenance of an admissibility boundary.
Elena Evtimova’s 2007 toroidal model treats the assemblage point as a localised electromagnetic vortex or current-loop structure associated with the chest and breathing. Its equations belong to a speculative physical-field model. The present construction is of a different type: no anatomical location or electromagnetic mechanism is proposed, and its central objects are trajectories, identity addresses, continuation sets, and event records.
ONTOΣ XIV-XV are adjacent to, but not imported into, the construction above. Their cross-layer apparatus applies only after a nested pair S⊃S_i, independently running burden or budget clocks, an Independent-Exhaustion certificate, and - where the spin bridge is invoked - a declared non-trivial boundary cycle have been supplied. None of those premises is declared here. Proposition 3 invokes part of the XV apparatus strictly conditionally - as a statement of the form “if (i)-(iv) are declared, then” - and therefore neither imports its premises into the present class nor relies on them in any unconditional conclusion. Their apparatus therefore belongs to a later extension concerning externally imposed cross-layer shifts or witness transport; it does not ground the present analogue or its non-emptiness proof.
The contribution here is therefore not a claim of priority over every mathematical treatment. It is a class-relative typing: the accessibility aspect of the assemblage point is read as an identity-indexed geometry of admissible continuation inside a predeclared admissibility-first architectural class. The comparison is strengthened precisely because the neighbouring constructions are acknowledged rather than renamed as absences.

Part One - The Crown (DOI: 10.17605/OSF.IO/ZYBT7) supplies the typed trajectory side - identity, history, admissible continuation, realised event, holding, and closure - while Navigational Cybernetics 2.5 - Axiomatic Core (DOI: 10.17605/OSF.IO/NHTC5) supplies the admissibility-first substrate; What Castaneda Did Not Say (DOI: 10.17605/OSF.IO/7EUWK) is a one-way bridge from that joined architecture to a class-relative reading of the assemblage point’s accessibility aspect. The bridge imports and combines those types without revising them: it depends on the source architecture, while the source architecture does not depend on the bridge.
Conclusion
Castaneda supplied a phenomenology of stability, displacement, multiple worlds, and terminal transformation. What he did not supply was a type system capable of keeping identity, history, admissibility, realisation, burden, and foundation apart.
Within the declared class, the accessibility aspect of the assemblage point is read here as the relation between an addressed identity and the admissible continuations available at the recorded edge of its history. The proposed holding analogue of fixation leaves a nondecreasing cost trace but is not identical with identity. Under a fixed model, level, and generator, a shift is an identity-preserving realised event that changes the generator-relative continuation field; a change of state that preserves identity within an unchanged field and an unchanged carry-forward are continuations but not shifts. Identity replacement and branching begin new addressed lines rather than move the former position. The generator-relative window of the assemblage position is not assumed to exhaust every realised continuer. The past fixes the banks of continuation while the event supplies the realised side without proving indeterminism. Closure ends execution without reusing the address. And the boundary that makes a continuation admissible remains prior to the runtime that enforces it. The explicit projection-preserving product-event construction proves that the subclass of published NC2.5 load-bearing witnesses admitting a projection-preserving realisation of the selected Crown continuation data is non-empty, with non-empty, inclusion-incomparable fields in the constructed case; it does not claim that the property is definable in the bare NC signature, that full A1-A61 conformance has been shown, or that the source witness’s own membership in the published class is reproved here rather than imported. Finally, under separately declared sealed-witness premises, gradual loss of the witness by arbitrarily small increments is inexpressible in the class; the present work does not identify any named phenomenological episode with a particular wearing register.
This does not prove Castaneda’s ontology. It does something smaller and harder to evade: it states exactly what must be distinguished before the phenomenon can be discussed mathematically.
