Linking to subheadings not working internally

dev.to supports linking to subheadings by appending #your-sub-heading to your post link.

This feature works perfectly fine when I enter the URL directly or link from another website.

But I have the impression that it doesn't work when I link from one dev article to another article on dev.

For example I have a link from this post at the end below the heading "5. Demo page and deployment" that links to "Publish/install your package"

But the link ends up on the top of the page. If I copy the URL and paste it to a new tab it works fine.

Can anyone confirm this?
