Our story
RoS is a self-funding part of the Scottish Government, and is committed to providing value to the people of Scotland. We build modern, high-quality, user-centric services that support the nation's economy. Our stack includes Java (8-11) using Spring Boot, Python, Javascript (React, AngularJS), PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Oracle. Dev in RoS is Agile, on a journey towards a service-aligned structure with a devops culture; we currently use an internal Openshift cloud infrastructure which we are in the process of migrating to AWS.
