By aligning with Bitcoin's original whitepaper, this project establishes a true peer-to-peer (P2P) blockchain where the "one CPU, one vote" rule ensures it remains strictly Proof-of-Work (PoW). However, we are integrating key features from Monero—such as RandomX—to safeguard decentralisation. While my ultimate goal is to enable merge-mining with Monero, that aspect remains highly complex for now. There is no premine, and I have not personally started mining yet; as a newcomer to crypto, my code is still far from perfect.
In addition to RandomX, we are adopting Monero's dynamic block size and tail emission model. Because Bitcoin is constantly being lost and transaction fees alone may not adequately incentivize miners in the long run, this cryptocurrency is designed to be both a store of value and digital cash—acting as a wealth reserve that remains as liquid as traditional coins. The working name "Bitcoin Permanence" is simply a placeholder to reflect this concept; the official name for the coin has not yet been finalized or created.
Crucially, this is not a privacy coin. Unlike Monero, it operates as a transparent, public ledger just like Bitcoin, to allow for more adoption and since privicy isnt the mindset for thsi coin. The coin allows support simple Bitcoin smart contracts. Finally, by utilizing a dynamic block size, the network can scale efficiently without relying solely on traditional fixed block rewards.
