Window and linux guide


we discuss the different between the window and user

window

In a window user interact the shell and the shell interact the operating system and operating system interact hardware and also you can see the picture an hardware response the req the the os and os to shell and shell show the output
Note : In a window user interact have two ways
1 Gui (graphical user interface )
example you add a file in window using help of gui
2 Command line
using shell command line

linux

In a linux user have not choice they interact the only the shell and shell interact the kernal and kernal interact the hardware and also hardware response the kernal and shell

Differnce between window and linux

  • In window have adminstration

  • In linux have root user

  • In window have software

  • In linux have package

  • In window have os

  • In linux have kernal

  • In window have folder

  • In linux have directory

  • In window have c drive

  • In a linux have top level root directory

Window File structure Heiarchy

1 Program file
it contained the software file
2 user file
it is the house of user they login
3 window file
it contain the os related file
4 Program file
it contain the install software file

Linux file system Heiarchy

it it is top level directory it denoted the backslash /

it have

  1. root dir it contain the root user if the root user gave login the linux 2 home it us house of other user if root user created the other user to access the system 3 boot it contain the package related file when the system start the you can see some package start automatic the process called the booting process it contain booting files

4 config
it cofiguration of system user and package

5 usr
it contain file the package user install

6 bin
it contain the registered command example when we type the dir it show dirr of system it registered the bin it can all run by all user
7 sbin
it a special command run by root user

Now we discuss the

window start wit c drive \ this is called the seperation
/root/div
linux start with / - top level dir
