THE LIFE OF THE KING

My name is Egharevba Osasumwen Stephanie. I am twenty years old. I was born on December 21st 2002 in Lagos State Nigeria. I am a Native of Edo state but presently reside in Lagos State Nigeria with my parents and siblings. My Parents are Mr and Mrs Egharevba and I was born into a family of four with me the elderest child. I am an highschool graduate with the dream and aspiration of becoming a successful Computer Scientist one day knowing fully well that I would get accepted into your college and I will be given the opportunity to showcase my intellectual skills and abilities.
I was born with multiple fractures on my upper and lower limbs, which necessitated an x-ray to be done on me which lead diagnosed me of having a disorder called Brittle Bone disease(Osteogenesis Imperfecta). Brittle Bone disease is a disorder that occurs when there is insufficient collagen in the bones which makes the bones to fracture easily.
Due to incessant fractures,I was enrolled in kindergarten school at age Four which was not quite early. Due to the kind of country and environment which I leave in knowing fully well that there are no plans for children like me, it was a bit challenging sourcing for a school for me,but fortunately my mom found one. I got accepted into the school and everyone was surprised to see a child like me in a school. After a session, the school noticed my sound academic moral and social abilities I was awarded a double promotion in the Nursery section.Nursery School was fun but it had a lot of challenges because the system was new to me but with time I adapted to the school activities. And time passed like the speed of light and I got promoted to primary section. I was so excited but it was challenging because of my condition. Whenever I had a fracture,my mom would take me to the orthopedic hospital where the doctors would put a cast or Plaster of Paris on the affected area to reduce the pain

Whenever I had a fracture,my mom would take me to the orthopedic hospital where the doctors would put a cast or Plaster of Paris on the affected area to reduce the pain. Sometimes I would come back from school with a fracture,Due to improper handling or a slight fall from my sit but I kept on encouraging myself and I was determined not to give up. I enjoyed every moment of it all and tick tock like the clock, Nursery and Primary school ended, graduation ceremony rounded it up. I got to the venue and saw my classmates wonderfully dressed, with parents, friends and other well wishers who were surprised to see a girl on a wheelchair graduating. Everybody wanted to know how it felt and what the challenges were.

Highschool life was fun but it came with it's own challenges but I I thought to my self that nothing nothing deter me from the reaching the top. I had caring friends who would assist me in several ways by going to the Laboratory and ICT room. I had a high enthusiasm as I moved from Highschool junior to highschool senior. I believed in my self that through hardwork and relentless efforts"that I must excel".

Finally it was time to sit for senior school certificate examination. I took it upon my self to explore all means of preparation towards the exam like attending of extra classes and burning candles at night. I gave it my best shot, the exams came I went,I saw, I conquered. The results were released and my results were good. The final event which was the valedictory service and invited people like family, friends and well wishers attended this milestone achievement. People were dazed to see the love and encouragement given to me by my family and friends.
