Opening twitter to see the state-of-the-art web designs and trends and all you get to see is twits about 50 followers, 100 followers and twits about a thousand followers. This kind of twits indisputably ruins your experience on twitter, but did you know that there's a built in option in twitter to filter out this sort of annoyance.
Here's how you can get rid of them:
- Open Notifications on Twitter
- Click on the gear icon on top right corner of the notifications div
- Click on Muted
- Click on Muted Words
- Click on the + (plus sign) and add items you want to filter out
- CHECK MUTE FROM ANYONE to completely block the keywords out o your timeline.
This won't block the peoples that post them, just the twits that contains your passed in keywords.
