There is no single best way to move NotebookLM flashcards into Anki. The right choice depends on whether you value zero setup, speed, or control.

1. Use .apkg for the shortest first-time path: download, open, import.
2. Use AnkiConnect when desktop Anki is already open and you export often.
3. Use TSV when you want to inspect, clean, or remap fields first.

My default recommendation for a new user is .apkg. Direct push becomes convenient after setup, but setup is still setup.

Optimize for the first successful import before optimizing for one-click speed.
