NotebookBloom: Citation export starts one click earlier than most people expect

When citation export says nothing is selected, the missing step is usually inside NotebookLM rather than the export format.

1. Click the citation number in the answer.
2. Select the source passage that opens.
3. Then export it as BibTeX, APA, MLA, or Chicago.

The tool can format the citation you selected, but it should not guess which source you meant.

A two-step visual guide is more useful than an accurate but vague “nothing selected” error.
