Why do we need a homelab, anyway?
This homelab journey starts with the willingness to learn more outside of my comfort zone and to share my thoughts, struggles, and wins. I used to have my own free cloud that my old employer gave to us as a consultant that handle one of the cloud providers in tech, but after I resigned to that company, I realized that is better to have my own.
If you, like me, are looking for or wanting to have your own lab, I believe we have the same problem, and this is the question:
"Where Im going to start?" Until you search a lot, then suddenly you are paralyzed due to information paralysis (does this even exist?)
Then let me share with you my options when I start. We need enviroment where we can install our environment.
Option 1: Install the virtual machine on your current laptop, just a simple install, such as an Oracle virtual machine.
Option 2: Buy a subscription to any cloud provider.
Option 3 Look for any secondhand system unit
Note:
This is what I experienced, and I tried to shut down the old system unit using the GUI properly.
I will be back for another episode.

Solution: Shutting down the old system unit using the GUI is better; I don't need to keep it open 24/7.
