About the Dementia Friendly Hackathon
Dementia Friendly Tech Hackathon is a hackathon held as part of Fukuoka's Dementia Tech Friendly Tech initiative.
The event was organized by Dr. Uchida, a psychiatrist involved in home healthcare.
Dementia Friendly Tech is an initiative to utilize technology to provide services that help people with dementia who are in need, and to enable people with dementia to live comfortably and exercise their abilities.
Dr. Uchida is said to be "a technology for people with dementia to live better."
Background of Participation
The reason why I participated this time was that I was introduced by the LINE Developer group, and Dr. Uchida, the organizer, took action based on his own sense of challenges, introduced reference books, and wrote educational articles. I felt it because it seemed interesting above all.
Basic Knowledge of Dementia
The basic knowledge about dementia is that
・There are many people with dementia and the number will continue to grow (it is estimated that by 2060 one in eight of the population will have dementia).
・Aging is the greatest risk factor for dementia
・Many people have a severely biased image of dementia.
etc., are considered unavoidable problems.
As for the actual biased image.
・I don't want to be.
・Difficult to care for
・It would be a nuisance to others.
・I don't want them to become family.
・It's going to be hard.
The above are some of the things listed above. I too had this same impression.
The reason for the above thought was that I thought it might be due to anxiety about not knowing much about dementia.
In order to alleviate anxiety, we thought that a system to help each other is necessary even before dementia sets in.
In Japanese, this is called "gojonoseishin".
I share this idea of "gojonoseishin" and decided to join a team called Nakama no Nakama.
What is Nakama no Nakama
"Nakama no Nakama" is a product born from the Dementia Friendly Tech Hackathon.
This is a mutual aid application that aims to create a cyber-physical system created by Civic (citizens) x Regional DX.

It is envisioned that LINE will be used as an interface to connect users with local information, and as a trigger to deliver information to users.
We employed enebular to create the prototype for this demonstration.

Reasons for adopting enebualar
・Easy to prepare as all you need is a web browser and an account to use it.
・Node-RED-based low-code handling, so anyone can handle it.
・The ability to use TLS ensures the security of communications.
enebular for the above reasons.
Linking ENEBULAR and LINE is also easy.
・Lines can be easily received at the http in node.
・The http request node can be used to access the LINE API.
・No need to prepare server certificates because the TLS environment is already prepared.
Using enebular has the above advantages.
Uhuru Corporation is involved in civic tech. For this reason, we thought enebular and this product would be a good match.
Thoughts on DX (Impressions)
We believe that the Nakama no Nakama product will be an example of open innovation by a local government.
Open innovation is the intentional and proactive use of internal and external technology, ideas, and other resource inputs and outputs to promote innovation within an organization, thereby increasing market opportunities to deploy innovations created within the organization outside the organization. It is defined as.
Open innovation requires the provision of external development environments, hackathons and idea sessions, and small-group workshops as educational activities for open innovation, in order to explore external resources.
We believe that ENEBULAR can also be used to prepare an environment for open innovation.

I hope that both technology-based systems and community development will lead to the creation of a dementia-friendly city.
