IT Adventure...

Hi,

Today, I want to share more about my coding learning adventure.

When I decided to pursue frontend development, I began searching for learning materials. What came next? YouTube tutorials, Udemy courses, or perhaps buying a bootcamp? None of those option suited me.

I chose to teach myself, seeking out good learning resources online and diving into coding.

I was fortunate to have a friend in the frontend field who recommended a valuable resource: roadmap.sh. When I visited the page, I was initially overwhelmed by the abundance of information. Topics like "How the internet works", "HTML - semantic tags", "CSS" and "Javascript" seemed daunting. But I told myself, "You can do it."

My first project didn't turn out great, and I felt accomplished even when I managed to create basic elements like <h1>, <h2>, <p>, etc. I remember stumbling upon a webpage that offered free courses on HTML and CSS (unfortunately, I can't recall the URL).

To enhance my coding skills, I used mobile apps like Sololearn and Mimo. This was particularly beneficial at the beginning, as I could code on my phone while riding the bus or during breaks at my other job. I also frequently referred to resources like w3schools.

However, the most crucial platform for my coding journey was freecodecamp.org. It's an excellent resource for anyone starting their coding journey, offering a wide range of courses, blogs, forums, and YouTube videos. I often return to this website to see what's new and what more I can learn.
