Epic launched its Care Everywhere Diagnostic Image Exchange, enabling health systems to directly share full diagnostic-quality CT, MRI, and X-ray images with one click — eliminating the longstanding burden of manual image retrieval and ending the need for millions of patients to carry images on CDs between appointments. Epic is also pushing for open standards adoption via TEFCA.
